Correspondent - Financial News
Based in Mumbai & Bangalore, the Journalists in the News editorial team will be responsible for writing financial news content, covering the international markets & creating daily routine items.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy, relevancy and timeliness of his/her output. S/he should have had experience in financial journalism. Strong English language skills are essential.
POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITES:
- To produce high quality news content as per the defined parameters for timelines, quality, accuracy and completeness.
- Add editorial value to the content, such that it becomes more relevant to the Thomson Financial customers.
- Use appropriate language skills to understand and source financial information
- Adherence to content editorial policies and procedures
- Use available tools to the best advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1+ years of financial journalism/ editorial experience with a reputed firm
- Exposure to financial domain (capital markets, investment banking, investment management) – especially on Financial content.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Excellent writing and editing skills (English language)
